Booking of BBQ pits
Booking of the BBQ pits is very simple! Procedures of booking the BBQ pits- Read the terms and conditions.
- Email Clarissa @ welfare@hall13.org to check for availability of the pits.
- Download the form, print, and complete it.
- Bring the form to 64-06-1321. Do remember to bring $20 refundable deposit!
- The BBQ facilities are designated for the use of the residents. Thus, priority is given to residents for the booking of the pit and residents need not pay for the usage of the pit. However, the pits are also open to NTU-based clubs & societies for a nominal charge of $10.00.
- For both residents & NTU-based clubs & societies, an application form must be completed and submitted to the Welfare Secretary with the payment of a refundable deposit of $20.00. (This is in addition to the nominal charge of $10.00 for NTU-based clubs & societies.)
- Booking must be made 2 weeks in advance on a first-come-first serve basis. Cancellation of bookings shall be made within 5 days from the actual scheduled date, failing which the Management reserves the rights to forfeit the deposit.
- Reservation must be made IN-PERSON with Hall 13 JCRC Welfare Secretary. BBQ pit keys are to be collected 2h before the event and to be returned before 12 noon the next day.
- The Management reserves the right to deduct an equivalent amount from the refundable deposit for damage caused and any addition cleaning services should these be required and for any additional expense incurred in rectifying any such damage caused to the common property or for any irregularities or contravention of the rules & regulations.
- Music players are permitted at the barbecue area provided there are no complaints from other users and residents. User shall ensure that there is minimal noise by the Guests and to ensure the good conduct and behaviour of the Guest.
- User is responsible for the cleanliness of the area and pit. All litter/waste food etc shall be disposed into trash bags. In the event that the trash bins are full, residents shall provide their own refuse container into which all litter, waste food, etc., are disposed of.
- Refund will be given in the event of rain.
- The Management reserves the right to forfeit the refundable deposit and to refuse future booking for non-compliance of any of the above.
- The Management will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages or loss of life, limb or property sustained by residents and their guests, how-so-ever caused when using the facilities.
